Every interaction I've had with Roo has been postive. I love this for both of us. Unfortunately, Roo hasn't always had postive interactions with people. We are very new in our relationship and it is vital for me that he sees me as his safe place, we use the HOME a lot. Roo is my first personal horse to bring up from a youngster in 15 yrs. I have learned so much from the horses in my path since then and I want Roo to have the benefit fo all the things I have learned and all that I will learn in our time together. I've had Roo 2.5 weeks. Sunday I wasn't feeling well and got sick while walking with him. This was early morning, before breakfast feeding. As Roo has become more comfortable he has been more playful and enjoys running and leaping with my husband and the food truck. I stopped walking and leaned on the fence, Roo stopped and outstretched his long neck to sniff. The food truck came bouncing down the road and I saw his eyes light up and prepare himself for a big burst of energy. As the truck began to pass us he looked at me and stopped. He put his nose on my head and felt my face. He stayed until I walked with him over to his breakfast. I was so overjoyed with his want to stay with me and make sure I was ok. It's not a big training milestone but a huge one in our relationship.
